Some of Summer’s best moments aren’t the ones that are most extravagant but yet those simple quiet days spent with the ones you love or even time spent alone.

Open windows, morning sunlight shining through. A Gentle breeze. Bare feet on the grass. Iced coffee in the sun. The scent of blooms, peonies, lavender, and mint, and freshly watered ground. Whispering tunes of bumble bees in the garden. Quiet walks, golden skin and flushed cheeks. Lips covered in ice cream, sweet strawberries. Ice cold elderflower presse. Sandy toes, dipped in the sea. Books read under the shade of trees, picnic baskets filled with delightful treats. Laughter flowing into the dusk of golden evenings. Softer, lighter, peaceful. A joyful Summer.

READING, LISTENING & WATCHING

• I have just started reading The potting Shed Murder by Paula Sutton. Paula’s love for the countryside, vintage interiors, gardens and fashion / beauty resonated with me and I couldn’t resist purchasing her novel. I’m really enjoying this one!

• The lost Bookshop by Evie Woods on audible.

ON THE MENU

• I found the most delicious quiche recipe in Wildflower Magazine. Perfect for a light dinner, lunch or taking on a picnic.

• Strawberries have been the fruit of the season. I had never thought about roasting strawberries until I heard someone say how incredible they were. Simple yet so tasty.

BEAUTY SHELVE
